While I am on Uni holidays, I think I should probably make as many Paperpokés models as I can squeeze in, so here is the latest one.

To be honest with you guys, I really only played Pokémon Red/Blue (and then half of Silver/Gold), so I really am only familiar with the first generation and some of the second gen. This fifth gen just freaks me out - there is an ICE CREAM CONE pokémon!!!

Anyway, with my rant out of the way, I've been after Abra for ages - I think it's just so adorable, snoozing away. I am very grateful to POdragon [link] for whipping this up for me - I'm very spoiled :) Oh, and by the way, this is the shiny Abra texture that I built, the normal was so drab in comparison.

The only issue I can see others having when building this model are the fingers - they are a little fiddly - but that really is a minor detail, otherwise, it's a medium difficulty level build. I have no idea when this will be scheduled, but it'll probably be into the new year.

2011! That's the future! Where's my flying car already?

That's ok :)

Are you using Pepakura Viewer? If not, this could help you a whole lot - the PDO a virtual 3D instruction manual that you can turn around in any direction, so that you can see how each piece fits together with the rest of the template.

The ears are basically pyramids, but assemble the top piece into the triangle shape first, then fold the bottom piece around it. The construct the head and insert the ears into the gaps left for the ears. Always refer back to the PDO file when in doubt.

thankyou i just downloaded it but it wont open the file saying that its an unsupported file type

You have to right click on the PDO and >OPEN WITH then select Pepakura Viewer and make it your default program for the PDOs.

Hello! I am currently working on a fan-made non-profit Pokemon Card set, and I really want this picture to be on the Abra card. Can I use it? I'll give your name as the illustrator, so you will be credited Thanks!

Yes you may, but it's not an illustration! It's real and sitting on my bookshelf as we speak.

yep, I know that, but there are some cards that use clay art and still has an illustrator credit part, so it is traditional:) thanks!
