This is a "life-size" version of Aryll's telescope from the Nintendo game The Legend Of Zelda - Wind Waker.
DaredevilBR [link] up-sized the model from 10cm to about 35cm, as a result of a request from one of the papercraft forums; but I never saw the finished result, so I decided to make it myself.
I thought it was pretty terrific looking when I finished it, but my 4 year old son said it wasn't very good because he couldn't see anything through it - "... it must be broken!"

Haha. Well, at least he didn't use it as a baseball bat. My three year old keeps putting Piplup into Kirby's pot. It's so funny.
