Gengar Papercraft Version 2 by Skele-kitty Gengar Papercraft Version 2 by Skele-kitty
This is a smaller, more condensed version of Pixel-Kakashi's original Gengar. It is only 15cm tall, and rather than being 214 pieces, it is now only 55.

This is my all time favorite pokemon and he is an amazing model. The detail in the back (his spiky bits) is incredible - it's a shame that don't know how to do those multi-image photos so I could show you the other sides, too.

It's a really easy build, but you have to build each part in the right order: back, face, tummy, arms, legs, then tail.

I don't think the website it up any more because I can't find the .zip on the link you posted :( Do you still have the instructions at all?

Oh yeah, our URL has changed, but I haven't updated any of the links on my old deviations. The new address is [link] and if you scroll down, on the left hand side you'll find a "find a model ender keywords" search bar, just type in Gengar and you'll find the model you're looking for.

Yeah, he does look really neat, sitting on my bookshelf looking waaaaaay to smug!

I looked at the original .pdo and had a fit - it was too much - so I asked PK if I could edit it and he graciously gave me his blessings.

He liked the new template so much that he re-released my version  I'm so proud!

Whoa! Really nice! And not too big too... I prefer not so big models, 'cause I've almost run out of space to keep y papercrafts in my room! :D

Well, if you can wait less than a couple of weeks, you'll be able to get the pdo then. ;)

Awww... I'm curious!!! :D
Btw, it's nice to have yet another good website for papercraft: I simply can't have enough templates! (Plus, now that I have cardstock again, I' really looking forward PMF's Bee Mario!)
And, in the future, if you'll need an extra testbuilder, I'd be honoured! (As an occasional testbuilder, I know your team is already full! :D)

Holy cow, this one looks atleast 100 times better then the picture on the blog XD. I also love how it's only 15 centimeters. This means that I might even build it as well :O

Great job! And if you want me to make a tutorial how to do those multi-image thingies, just give me a shout ;)

I really love this model so much

That would be awesome if you could give me a tute - I've been waiting for Paperbuff to send me a "for dummies" but she keeps forgetting =p

Oh, I'd love to make a tut for you :)

I'd like to know before I start though. Do you have any experience with Gimp or Photoshop at all? Like how layers work, and how you can add borders? Just want to know so I know how thorough the guide should be ;)

I know NOTHING!! LOL!

Seriously, we got our first "proper" computer four years ago - and so my technical knowledge is pretty minimal - hence the "For Dummies" comment!

Do you know how to download and install programs? If not, I'll make a guide for that too ;)

Which programs? I already have photoshop.

You don't need to worry about me and installing programs - I'm a pirate, remember?

Yeeearrrrrrgh! =p

Photoshop? Ok, I'll make a guide for that. I'm used to Gimp myself, but I'll just install the trial of Photoshop so that I can make the tutorial for you ;)

I could install Gimp, if it'll make things easier for you. No big deal, I mean, it's just one more program icon sitting on my desktop! :giggle:

Sure :P I can only make a tut for Gimp though, not Photoshop.

Well, actually I can if I install the trial version ;)
So whatever you prefer Skelekitty :D
