Happy Halloween Papercraft by Skele-kitty Happy Halloween Papercraft by Skele-kitty
HOLY CRAP!

Have you guys seen how BIG this bloody thing is? It really is "life size"! I've propped it sitting right behind a standard 30cm ruler, and every time I look at it I'm still startled by how MASSIVE it is!

It's from the Canon 3D Papercraft website [link] - which I have to say is a great resource of easy models - and this one is obviously from their Halloween range.

You can find the template here: [link]

I know I'm a little early, but I didn't know how long this would take to build, but after the tedious process of scoring (embossing) and cutting, it really didn't take that long at all.

Now, I did have to go out and purchase 200gms card just for this project, because, quite frankly anything lighter would not have been structurally weight-bearing enough - it's HUGE!

Thanks. This is one of the few papercraft models I built that I still have. In fact, it's sitting right next to me as I type this. It's huge and super cute :)

This one was only 11 pages - the extra pages are for 2 alternate faces, the witches hat and the wings - so it's not as bad as it looks!

And it didn't really take that long at all - I reckon it took longer to score and cut out than it did to put together.

Go on, give it a go. :)

nah. it's not that i think it would be a pain. it's just that i don't have much printer ink, cardstock, glue, or money to get more. :sniff:

Well, there's always next year.

I cracked this .PDF recently, so you could resize smaller - it if still you wanted it - mini jack-o-lantern.

if you want to shrink it down to where it will only take a page or 2 each, that would be great. i have no idea how to shrink them...

Hmmm ... 11 pages to one?

I'll see what I can do for you. Send me a note with your email and I'll mail you the reduced size - if I can't do it, I know Paperbuff can definitely do it! ;)

ok. thanks. like i said, i would, but I have no idea how to resize pdfs other than printing, cutting out, cramming onto one sheet of paper, scanning, and resizing that.
