It's a Poke Papercraft Plague by Skele-kitty It's a Poke Papercraft Plague by Skele-kitty

Hahaha! The Pokédolls are "actual" dolls in the game, whilst the Pokémon Papercraft are the Pokémon. They are all papercraft models, but the dolls have a "fabric" looking texture to make them look like plushies.
I have seen some of the Paperpoké models made into sewn plushie dolls, which is both amazing and lovely, but for the most part, our models require a printer, scissors, and glue :)

Hahaha! I should have, but they are all mostly gone now - tiny scrunched up balls of coloured paper in the recycling bin. I have a dozen or so left on my shelf, but just the ones that hold sentimental value.

Thank you.

I did make a Magikarp [link] , but it was one of the pokedolls. There is a proper Magikarp, but I didn't build it: [link]

Practice and patience are pretty crucial for most crafts, lol! But good luck with building more in the future.

Hahaha, yeah, my first ones were pretty terrible, too - you gotta start somewhere, right? But I tell you, if you get the right paper and glue, it's amazing how much better your builds are, trust me.

Yeah, finding the right weight paper that suits your build-style is hard; there's a lot of trial and error. I've never used card stock, I aim for 150-200gsm paper. I believe, in the US, you can get some from your local Staples.

ive been using printer paper..i used some of my art paper and it turned out horrible...it was textured so the ridges got more ink then the paper soo it looked like a paper towel

80gsm printer paper is just too thin and anything you make out of it will look rubbish, even if you are the most experienced papercraft test builder. Just don't do it, lol!

Red: Ash, Satoshi, the player in Pokemon red/green/blue/yellow, the highest level enemy in Gold/Silver/Crystal/Heartgold/Soulsilver, the male player in Firered/Leafgreen.
Basically, that guy that catches all the Pokemon.

Ahhh! It's been so long since I played that game; but coincidentally, I rediscovered my Pokémon gameboy cartridge, in it's original box, with the battery still working, two days ago. I'm thinking of eBaying it, because I am never going to have a spare 120 hours to play with it ever again. Then again, I am pretty sentimental about it. Maybe in another 20 years, we'll see how much an "excellent condition, in original packaging, Pokémon Red Gameboy" game can fetch me, hahaha!

And I guess I am still sore at not being able to catch a Gengar without trading it! =p

I got back into Pokemon when I found the Nuzlocke challenge. Rule one: You can only catch the first Pokemon you see on a route. You miss it, then tough luck. Rule two: fainted Pokemon are dead and can not be used.
It's simple but fun. If you ever get the urge to dig out that old gameboy, I highly recommend trying it at least once.

I love these so much! I've tried downloading a few, and I have all the right software for it, it downloads o.k, but thwn it won't let me open it, and I have no idea why, and it's so frustrating, cos I really wanna have a go. But yours are amazing, well done! ;)

I don't know what the problem is, because our files are downloaded without issue every day. You have a winRAR type program (there are plenty of free versions out there)? you have to extract the archived file to a folder (on your desktop for example) and then you need two programs: Adobe reader (free) for the PDFs, and Pepakura VIEWER (also free)for the PDOs.
If you have a Mac, you will not be able to use Pepakura Viewer unless you are running Windows on Paralelles or Bootcamp.

Sadly no, they are not for sale, and besides, they don't ship very well since they are made of hollow paper. But you can make them - you just have to download the templates from our Paperpokés website.
