Pokeball Papercraft no. 1 by Skele-kitty Pokeball Papercraft no. 1 by Skele-kitty
Go Pokeball!!!

When I played Pokémon Blue/Red, I was so happy to discover that there was the 999 Masterball cheat - BEST CHEAT EVER!

Couldn't have finished playing that game without it! So I decided to make some, much to the excitement of my kids! These were really the only ones I used throughout the game, with the exception of the Safariball, but that's boring - it's just green on top with an "S".

So anyways, the .PDOs are available on Nintendo Papercraft [link] , but here is the d/l link: [link]

However, the original unfold by the designer THI was not as user friendly as it could have been, and as a result, i ended up making about 3 Masterballs before I came up with a solution to make closing acceptable.

So if you want to wait for a bit, I will re-unfold all 10 balls, and re-publish them on our blog - I might even attempt making them all ... or not! Or you can give the original unfold a go, and if you do, kudos to you!

Here is a list of the ten balls that are included in the d/l pack:
Poké Ball
Great Ball
Ultra Ball
Master Ball
Safari Ball
Moon Ball
Luxury Ball
Premier Ball
Net Ball
Nest Ball

Hi! Pepakura is a Window's application only. The only way you'll be able to view the .PDO files on your Mac is if you run a virtual Window's machine via something like Bookcamp. I've done it on my MacBook and it works well. Good luck.

There is no such thing as a stupid question :)

I do tend to slightly "bend" all the tabs gently, just so the paper will know where to flex. As for the actual fold-lines on the template, I would only recommend gently folding where the lines meet at anything over 90° or more - this way you get a more smooth and rounded build.

okay, since When choosing the luxury ball, the lines are a little harder to see, but I don't know where to start... should I start at the top, bottom or middle?

Oh, it's was quite a while ago now, when I built these. Let me think ... I am pretty sure I started with the button and moved towards the back of the ball - closing any papercraft model is always hard, so it's best to close it where it won't be seen, such as the sole of a foot or, in this case, the rear of the model.

Agreed! I don't get to game as often as I'd like to anymore, but I am looking forward to the new Zelda. But that's not due for release for at least a year. I heard they are going to re-release Windwaker in HD for the Wii U, and I'm all like "meh" but I know I'll still have to get it, lol!

Unfortunately, the only game consoles that I have are Game Boy Advance SP and Sony PSP.And I kinda don't want to ask my dad for another. The comic were really nice. Some of the games that I didn't played, either I read the comics or I watched the game scenes. It's cool enough for me. (Sorry for the rant...)

Awww! Save up all your pocket money, and then take ALL the monies to your local video game store, and say, "Mister, I'd like to buy a Nintendo Wii U please!" then you can download the game on the virtual console and go "YAAAAAY! BEST. GAME. EVER!"

They look awesome!
One thing that could make it look better is try sanding the edges a bit to make the Pokeballs look more round? But I don't know saying that I don't have much experience with Pepakura and only watch videos of people making stuff like this (with resin, fiberglass and all that complicated stuff) ^^ heh

Thank you.
These are strictly just paper and glue - you can't sand that without taking off all the ink and destroying it.

The boxes are a little tricky, you MUST follow the numbers, otherwise you won't be able to close either half. Most of the Paperpokés templates are numbered in build order, but we do always advise that you build the models infront of the computer whilst you have the PDO open - they are your virtual instructions.

Good luck.

I reunfolded about seven different ways, and the version in the pack is the best and easiest build in my opinion. These pokéballs did my head in!
