Description
I made this damask-style pattern as the base of a concept book cover for one of my Finished Art briefs at Uni: to redesign a set of book covers (I got Winnie the Pooh and The House At Pooh Corner). I created this pattern in Illustrator. I LOVE ILLUSTRATOR! Best program EVER!
The background (at 75% transparency) are the bases of the book covers - all the text and mandatory logos go on top. Each quarter (one separate individual book) is coloured to represent one of the main characters: Eeyore, Tigger, Pooh and Piglet.
And the big black pattern, on top, is a close up of the Pooh-damask - it has bees, flowers, leaves and a hive in it!

Nicely done, but just a thought, when scaling it down to create the pattern, I'm afraid you're gonna lose most of the small details that makes it great. :/
